You can save install.wim file in the same path just to check “save in source path”, or you can set a different path to click on the browse button.

Click on the Extract button, to view complete information of install.esd file

Select your desired index number, install.esd or install.wim files may have different versions of Windows. Therefore you have to select one version according to your fit needs. You must have to click on one index: x number. When you will click on index:x, it will show in the selected index is: x, otherwise it will show invalid index number.

Step Five

After selecting a valid index number, click on the “Convert” button, it will start the conversion of install.esd to install.wim and close the tool.
